Michele Rosko was selling beads on string for the Work For Widows program long before the Ambassador program was ever created. The early items that Michele tried to sell were products that would not even be considered for the market anymore.
Michele came to Sri Lanka just after the Tsunami and realized the need that was there and joined with her sister, the founder of the program in trying to make a difference in the lives of the women and children in need.
Michele is the department head of Vancouver Community College’s dental program and yet she gives so many unselfish hours of her time to Work For Widows.
After seven years, Michele is still setting up tables for a sale or arranging for product to be displayed anywhere and everywhere she can.
